In February 2025, at the Informa Connect Asset Recovery International Conference in Dublin, Maureen Ward spoke on a panel that covered multiple jurisdictions in a practical manner with respect to evidence gathering, witness testimony and other key cross-border litigation issues impacting asset recovery.
The panelists (which also included counsel from U.S., Ukraine, Switzerland and Brazil) explained key rules for evidence in their jurisdiction, and together they discussed how this impacts strategic planning and whether it can be used to a claimant or defendant's advantage in cross border claims.
