We are pleased to report that as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure safe and reliable service to our clients, during the summer of 2016 Bennett Jones became ISO 27001 certified. The firm has been recertified every year since then.
This means our systems have been assessed and approved by independent third-party audit as compliant with the standards and guidelines of ISO/IEC 27001:2013. The approved administration systems for management of information security meet those requirements in support of the firm’s operations in all of our Canadian offices (Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and Ottawa).
We have undertaken this extraordinary step as part of our disciplined approach to excellence in the practice of law, and as a consequence of the seriousness with which we take our duties to protect our clients’ interests, including in the realm of information technology, security, confidentiality and integrity.
