He specializes in employment law, labour law and litigation, advising unionized and non-unionized employers on a wide range of workplace issues. He supports clients in navigating labour and employment disputes, offering strategic advice on all aspects of the employment relationship. This includes expertise in employment standards compliance, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, terminations, restrictive covenants, employment agreements, human rights matters, grievances and employment litigation. He has represented clients before all levels of court in Alberta and British Columbia, as well as in disputes before private arbitrators and government tribunals, including human rights commissions and labour boards. Before joining Bennett Jones, Cameron articled and worked at a leading national business law firm. Prior to pursuing his law degree, he gained valuable experience in labour relations within the public sector. Beyond his legal practice, Cameron is an active volunteer in his community. He regularly campaigns for local election candidates and serves as a constituency-level director for a major political party in Alberta. |
