In-house counsel and HR professionals seek David Cassin's guidance in regard to employment and labour matters. He represents clients at all levels of court in Ontario, various regulatory and arbitral tribunals, and has appeared as counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada.

David provides strategic advice to employers on a wide range of employment law issues including employee terminations, human rights matters, drafting and enforcing employment contracts, accommodation and disability issues, and workplace harassment complaints and investigations. He also provides workplace training with a focus on employer obligations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the Human Rights Code. 

David's legal experience includes civil and commercial disputes, insolvency, insurance litigation, product liability, civil fraud, and class actions.
 
He writes regularly on commercial litigation, employment law, and administrative law topics.

David is a member of the Toronto Advocates’ Society. He is also a registered notary public.
