Darcy Moch is a senior tax partner and served as the co-head of the firm's tax department for close to 20 years. His practice is broad, focusing on domestic and international tax-planning, cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and financings transactions. Darcy has extensive experience in advising Canadian and foreign multi-national corporations, private equity funds, public corporations and privately owned businesses.  He is also a leader in advising high net worth families on personal tax, succession, estate, trust, philanthropic and corporate planning matters, and on individual residency matters including departure and immigration tax planning.

Darcy frequently speaks on tax-related topics at local, national and international conferences, and has taken on many leadership roles within the tax community throughout his long career, including serving as the Chair of the National Taxation Section of the Canadian Bar Association, the Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Taxation, through which the Canadian Bar Association and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada interact with senior governmental officials in connection with current and proposed tax legislation, a governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and a director and president of the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society.

He is involved in a variety of community organizations and served for many years as a director and chair of the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.
