Lisa Kakoske provides practical legal advice focused on delivering proactive solutions with a strong commitment to client success. As a Partner at Bennett Jones, Lisa specializes in navigating complex business issues and creating strategic, solution-oriented frameworks that advance her client’s business objectives. Her clients value her for her approachable demeanor and her ability to simplify intricate legal matters into practical, actionable advice.

Lisa routinely assists clients on a broad range of matters including advising startups and high-growth companies on structuring equity financings and capital raises; facilitating investments by private equity and venture capital funds into portfolio companies; forming venture capital and private equity funds; creating bespoke real estate investment structures; guiding clients through the negotiation and execution of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions; developing robust partnership and shareholder agreements that protect interests and foster long-term collaboration; assisting clients with registration and compliance matters relating to exempt market dealer, investment fund manager and portfolio manager requirements and regulations; and providing advice on capital market matters for underwriters and public issuers from routine securities law matters to private placement and prospectus offerings.

She is dedicated to finding solutions that align with her clients' business objectives and she takes pride in providing personalized, high-touch service that goes beyond merely identifying problems.
