Laura Glover has a general corporate commercial law practice with a focus on commercial transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and corporate matters such as asset and share purchases, amalgamations and reorganizations. She also assists clients in negotiating and drafting energy contracts related to oil and gas and renewable resource development.
While in law school, Laura received several awards, including the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) Scholarship and Hope and Ian McLaren Cook, Sr. Scholarship in oil and gas law.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Laura summered and articled with the firm. During her articles, she was seconded to the Calgary office of a multinational integrated oil and gas company. Laura also summered with a large energy infrastructure company during law school.
An avid athlete, Laura was previously a member of the Canadian national luge team.
