Tayler Meagher has a general commercial litigation practice, with an emphasis on employment law, professional negligence defence and health law.
Tayler advises both employers and employees on a variety of matters, including wrongful and constructive dismissal, severance entitlements and human rights within the workplace. Tayler also represents physicians in litigation and regulatory matters, including malpractice actions and professional discipline. She has assisted on matters at all levels of the Alberta court system and in several administrative tribunals.
Prior to becoming an associate, Tayler summered and articled with the firm.
In addition to her practice, Tayler is a part of the Young Advocates' Standing Committee where she helps address concerns facing young lawyers both within The Advocates' Society and the legal profession at large. She also volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, providing summary legal advice to low-income individuals. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates' Society. Tayler also acts as a Moot Coach for the Bennett Jones Health Law Moot Team.
