Sarah Karim has over five years of experience supporting lawyers in a wide range of litigation matters from start to resolution.

Sarah provides comprehensive support to lawyers and clients throughout the eDiscovery process and all stages of litigation, including but not limited to preparing court documents, examination for discovery, and trial preparation. With an in-depth understanding of litigation procedures in both the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court, she brings valuable expertise to every stage of litigation by drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing lists of undertakings, advisements, and refusals. She possesses a strong knowledge of enforcement procedures, including the enforcement of writs of seizure and sale, and garnishments. Additionally, she plays an integral role in all technical aspects of litigation, from document collection and production to trial and hearing preparation. Sarah is proficient in utilizing litigation tools, including Eclipse and generative AI.

Sarah initially joined Bennett Jones in 2020 as a litigation assistant. Before joining Bennett Jones, she completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto, specializing in Equity Studies. She later earned her Paralegal Graduate Certificate and subsequently obtained her Paralegal License (P1), further strengthening her expertise in litigation support. Continuing her commitment to advocacy, she worked as a paralegal at a Toronto-based litigation boutique law firm. Sarah has been a member of the Law Society of Ontario since 2021. She is also a Notary & Commissioner of Oaths.
