As national co-head of the complex legal research and opinions group, Preet analyzes and finds solutions for intricate, novel and complex legal issues in transactional, litigation and insolvency and restructuring contexts, with a specific focus on CCAA and CBCA restructurings. She prepares expert legal opinions and written advocacy, focusing on appellate-level facta, for lawyers and clients of the firm in numerous areas of practice.

Preet has extensive experience in significant commercial, civil fraud and auditor liability cases, including Sino-Forest Corporation (both the CCAA proceedings and subsequent fraud trial) and Lavender v Miller Bernstein (Ontario Court of Appeal). She has appeared before all levels of Court.

Preet serves as Chair of the Toronto Student Committee, overseeing all student recruitment and the student program for the Toronto office. She also sits on a number of other partnership committees at the firm, including the Opinions Committee and the Conflicts Committee. In addition to being a mentor at the firm, Preet is part of the mentoring program for the South Asian Bar Association and South Asian Women in the Law.
